Liz grew up inhaling the stories of Enid Bayton, later discovering a love for adventure in Nancy Drew, Trixie Belden and Anne of Green Gables, before finding her ultimate escapism joy in the high fantasy series of David Eddings, Fiona McIntosh and of course Tolkien.

While today as a mother of three and a busy accountant in a suburban practice she reads anything from hard science fiction, literary fiction through to historical romances, Liz’s occasional bursts of writing harken back to the stories of her youth, with a wry sense of humour, open to the fantastic hidden amongst the mundane.
