The Shell

A desperate and agitated bikie sets off on his Harley Davidson to the coast. He arrives at a solitary caravan near the water's edge.

Inside the van is the keeper of a mysterious secret; an ancient and timeworn shell, once found by explorer Matthew Flinders on the very the same beach in 1802. 

The Shell is the key to the past and a gateway to the present.

The video was created using clips of mainly water related imagery. It was entirely shot using a smart phone - utilizing the 240fps video capability. It's not as high resolution as I would have liked but the primary use of this clip was for online viewing to accompany the music. The music was also created by Yanni under the name Bluzoid for the album called Water which hopefully will be part of a series of four records. Bluzoid now has two albums for sale on Bandcamp and every other online service.

The music is all ambient electronic style created purely for pleasure. The video imagery was collected over a period of about a year from watery places near where I live in Australia. There were no other people involved in the making of the video or music apart from my son Nicholas contributing some sounds on the CD and my daughter Zoe who contributed her eyes and hands in the video..

Yanni was privileged and honoured to write and produce some original music under Bluzoid for Rosebud Secondary College's entry to the 2015 "Wakakirri" story dance competition. This is where students have to tell a seven minute story using creative movement, projection, acting and dance
